We are pleased to advise that our PTA now have an online Pre Loved Uniform  shop. 

Uniform Labels

To help keep children’s belongings easily identifiable and ensure lost items can be returned quickly, all school uniform, PE kits, lunch boxes, water bottles and other personal items must be labelled.

Our PTA has partnered with MyNametags, and the company will donate 24% of every order back to the school when our unique school link or code is used.

In addition to the above, KS2 children (Years 3 – 6) require the following for games :

Navy fleece & jogging bottoms for cold weather can be purchased online from Mapac

(Navy fleece can also be worn over their school jumper during cold weather)

Trainers/football boots/shin pads

Hair

The school does not allow:

• extremes of hair fashion i.e. no lines, staggered lengths, cuts, patterns, shaved heads, or dyeing of the hair.
• Use of gel, hairspray, wax or any hair styling product is not permitted (This does not apply to the use of products which moisturise and protect afro-textured hair from damage)

Shoulder length or longer hair or hair that covers the eyes must be tied back so that it is off the face and not a danger or distraction. Hair bands, ribbons, slides, bows, bobbles or beads, must be plain black, grey or white. If worn, these must be of a sensible size and design. Please check with school first if you are unsure.

Jewelry 

• Children may only wear an analogue watch.
• They are not allowed to wear any jewellery which includes earrings, necklaces, rings or bracelets and no watches with cameras or recording equipment.
• If parents/carers require that children have their ears pierced, this must be done at the start of the summer holidays so the earrings can be removed before school begins in the autumn term. If this is not possible, a letter must be provided by the parent/carer indicating why this is the case.
• No marks/cuts allowed in eyebrows.
• For Health and Safety reasons children may not participate in PE if wearing earrings.

 

 

ALL UNIFORM MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE CHILD’S NAME .

 In all matters concerning uniform, including hair and jewellery, the Head Teacher’s decision is final however we welcome discussions on these matters, particularly if you are having difficulties purchasing the uniform items in the policy.
